I’m so happy that more and more people on tumblr are taking interest on Justified and the fandom is growing

It’s a really really really amazing kick-ass show! And just FYI, Timothy Olyphant is like a son to me since I was 11 or something and I’LL TAKE NO CRAP FROM YOU IF YOU TALK SHIT ABOUT MY CHILD, OK?! Other than that, have fun in our fandom!

I met him once, not on a flight, though… it was quite recent, in London. I spotted him in a cafe, wearing sunglasses, reading the Daily Times. I had to do a double take, and when I realised it was him, I was reduced to excited little kiddy. I kept looking over to his table, and then finally, he caught my eye and looked up at me and smiled politely. Then I stuttered and went “Sorry, you are Timothy Olyphant, right?”, to which he kind of chuckled and replied with “Yes, yes I am…”. He jokingly congratulated me with “You’re actually the first guy today who’s been creepy enough to realise who I am”, or words to that effect… I was ridiculously starstruck, but we got to talking, he was very pleasant, charming, funny… he was in London promoting I Am Number Four, which I had to embarassingly admit that I hadn’t seen. He laughed and said “This one’s mainly for my kids”, which I thought was an awesome thing to say! I praised him for being terrifying in Scream 2, to which he thanked me with a weird look. I said he was fantastic in Hitman, Go and Die Hard 4.0… that last one, he replied with “Ah yeah, that’s what it’s called over here!” XD I also informed him that I’d watched A Perfect Getaway the night before, and told him how good it was, which he was pleased to hear… his most interesting reaction was when I told him how The Girl Next Door was one of my favourite movies… he came back with “Hey, mine too, actually…”

All in all, he seemed like a lovely guy. He was incredibly charismatic and effortlessly cool, but at the same time, he didn’t seem like a douche in any sense of the word. He had an obviously glamorous presence, but at the same time, he came across as really down-to-earth and humble. It was nice to see that the fame hadn’t gone to his head. I was far too nervous to ask for an autograph, but he offered me one anyway, and wrote one out for my girlfriend as well. Best half an hour of my life, has to be said.

For his kids. I JUST.
